Battle Footage

Most mainstream Battle Footage re-enactors make an effort at appearing authentic and great effort is put into battle scenes. Each participant is in full costume and carries the correct weaponry of the era, but authenticity of the acting can sometimes be more difficult. For example, re-enactors may want a break to consume food, but they need to eat food that would have been served in the period whilst on camera!

Battle Footage reenactors often do not participate in the actual combat portion of the reenactment and serve as narrators to the audience during the battle.
